As far back as 2016 the large demand for competent, well-trained artisans for Orania gave rise to BKO commencing with the training of electricians, plumbers and building and civil construction students. In 2020 BKO received accreditation from the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) to proceed with presenting a National Diploma in Farm Management. For young women interested in taking care of the elderly or toddlers, BKO also offers an accredited qualification in home care.

BKO has modern training facilities, equipped with the latest technology. A lot more than just the prescribed curriculum is discussed with students. Aspects like generic management and the establishment of your own business also receives attention. Students are accommodated in two residences that regularly compete with each other in sport and at cultural level. At BKO students receive more than just outstanding training –they are equipped to enter the adult world as balanced, well-equipped adults.
